Two ways to change something
The first is to do it yourself. Your site is built on an easy-to-use CMS you get access to, so a price, a photo or your hours can be changed in a few minutes. The second is to send the change to us in a message, and we make it. Plenty of owners use both.
What changes look like in practice
A restaurant sends a new set of weekend specials and a holiday closing. A salon adds a stylist and replaces three photos in the gallery. A trades company changes its service area and swaps the photo of a recent job. A shop puts up a banner for a weekend sale and takes it down on Monday. Each of those is the kind of request a plan is built for.
How to send a change
Write to us and keep it specific. The more exact the request, the faster it is done.
- Say which page it is on.
- Give the exact words or numbers, like "Saturday hours 9 to 4."
- Attach photos as files, not screenshots.
- Batch several changes into one message.
- Tell us if there is a date it needs to be live by.
What happens next
We make the change, check it on a phone and on a computer, and tell you when it is live. On Growth + Voice, your changes are handled first. If a request is unclear, we ask before we guess, because a wrong guess costs you more time than a question does.
Bigger requests
A new page, a new feature or a redesign is not a small change. When you ask, we tell you how it fits into your plan. Growth and Growth + Voice include new pages on a schedule, and a request beyond that is priced before we start. You always know where you stand.
Fixes are separate
If something breaks, like a form that stops sending or a page that will not load, that is a fix, and fixes are part of every plan on their own. They do not use up your small changes. The monthly check is there to catch these problems before a customer does.
Plan ahead for busy times
If you know the holiday hours or the new menu a week early, send them early. A change that has a few days to spare is calmer than one that is needed in an hour.
What speeds a change up
Most small changes are quick to make. The slow part is usually waiting for the final wording or the right photo. If you send the change complete, with the page, the words and the files in one message, there is very little left to ask you.
