The Graveyard of Site Ideas.
We’re a studio that rebuilds websites, so when we rebuilt our own we got carried away: nine complete homepages, one palette, one offer. We could only ship one. The other eight are buried here — except nothing here is actually dead. Every page works, every price is real, and the free teardown form on each one goes to the same human.
Pay your respects to whichever one you’d have shipped.
01/09
The Editorial
☠ Died of being the sensible one.
Serif headlines, ledger lists, rate-card pricing, and a sample teardown pinned to the page.
02/09
The Case File
☠ Closed, but never solved.
A noir dossier: stamps, evidence log, fee schedule, and an interrogation-transcript FAQ.
03/09
The Drafting Sheet
☠ Issued for construction. Never built.
Architectural drawings: title blocks, dimension lines, a defect schedule, and a revision table with one damning row.
04/09
The Departures Board
☠ Delayed since 2017.
A split-flap board at MIA. Delay codes, gates, fares, ground crew — the letters flip in on load.
05/09
The Fight Card
☠ Lost by decision, nightly.
A wood-type boxing poster: your website vs. the algorithm, with a tale of the tape.
06/09
The Hurricane Advisory
☠ Conditions worsened without intervention.
An NWS-style teletype bulletin, complete with a cone of lost traffic and a proper NNNN sign-off.
07/09
The Ventanita
☠ Se enfrió el cafecito.
The laminated menu at a cafecito window, open late. Dot leaders, marker prices, la colada semanal.
08/09
The X-Ray Lightbox
☠ The fractures were structural.
A radiologist's wall: backlit films of your site with grease-pencil circles and a treatment plan.
09/09
The Attract Mode
☠ Game over. Insert coin.
A CRT cabinet on idle: high score 0 visitors, six stage deaths on loop, pricing as the high-score table.
The point, since we’re a website studio and this is technically marketing: range is a deliverable. If your site has looked the same since 2017, we have at least nine ideas about that. Start with the free teardown, or go back to the homepage that lived.
