- How do I start a speech?
- Create a new speech and choose the occasion, such as a wedding, birthday, retirement, memorial or roast. Add who it is for and how long you have. The editor offers prompts shaped to that occasion while you write.
- How long will my toast take to say?
- The editor converts your word count into estimated speaking time as you type, and compares it with your target length. Each rehearsal can be timed too, so your estimate gets closer to your real pace the more you practice.
- How does the teleprompter work?
- Rehearse mode shows your speech full screen in large type and scrolls it automatically. Drag to change the pace while you go, pause when you need to, and flip it to mirror mode if you are using it with a reflective surface.
- Can I print cue cards?
- Yes. Export a cue-card PDF from the speech. The standard cards are free, and the index-card and large-type styles come with Toast Pro.
- What are Polish, Tone and Tighten to Time?
- These on-device writing tools are available on iPhones with Apple Intelligence. They can smooth a draft, shift its tone, or trim it to fit your time slot. Every suggestion appears in a review screen with the changes highlighted, and nothing touches your speech until you tap Use This. They are part of Toast Pro.
- Can Toast record my rehearsals?
- Recording takes so you can hear them back is part of Toast Pro. Without it, rehearsals are only timed, and Toast never asks for microphone access.
- What is free and what is Toast Pro?
- Unlimited speeches, the editor with its time estimate, the full teleprompter, the takes log, event reminders, the widget, Siri and Shortcuts, text sharing and the standard cue-card PDF are free. Toast Pro is a one-time unlock, with no subscription, that adds the on-device writing tools, recorded takes, and the extra cue-card styles.
- Where are my speeches stored?
- On your phone. There is no account and no sign-in.
- How do I restore my purchase, or contact support?
- Open Settings and tap Restore Purchases while signed in to the Apple ID you bought with. For anything else, email support@zossoz.com and a person will reply by email.
