Dinner Party Host Planner
Tablescape Help
Help with guest lists, RSVPs, seating, menus and everything else about hosting with Tablescape.
- How do I plan my first dinner?
- Tap Host a dinner, pick the occasion and date, then add your guests. From there you can build the menu, the bring-list, the seating plan and the day-of timeline at your own pace. A template can fill in the basics for you if you would rather not start blank.
- How do my guests RSVP?
- Share the dinner with them from the guest list. Guests open the link on an iPhone or iPad that has Tablescape installed, RSVP, and claim anything from the bring-list. Guests without the app can still come, and you can mark their RSVP yourself.
- Do my guests have to pay?
- Never. Anyone joining a dinner, RSVPing or claiming a dish uses Tablescape for free. Only the host's own planning is covered by the one-time Host Unlock.
- What is free and what needs the Host Unlock?
- Your first dinner is free, with every feature. From the second dinner on, hosting needs the one-time Host Unlock, which also covers starting from a template, repeating a past dinner and sharing your year in review. There is no subscription.
- How does the seating chart work?
- Drag guests onto tables, or let Tablescape suggest a plan that keeps conversation flowing. To match your real room, scan it with an iPhone that has LiDAR, or import a photo of the space and Tablescape sketches the tables for you.
- How are allergies and dietary needs handled?
- Add dietary notes to each guest. They follow the guest to the menu, and Tablescape flags any dish that conflicts with a vegetarian, gluten-free, nut allergy or other note before it reaches the table.
- Can I print everything for the day?
- Yes. The table packet puts the menu, seating and who is bringing what on a printable page, so the plan can live on the kitchen counter instead of your phone.
- How do I restore my purchase on a new phone?
- Open Settings in Tablescape and tap Restore Purchases while signed in to the Apple ID you bought with.
- How do I contact support?
- Email support@zossoz.com with your iPhone model, iOS version and a description of what happened. A person replies by email.
