Meal Train Organizer
Casserole Help
Everything about setting up a meal train, inviting helpers and keeping the schedule on track.
- How do I set up a meal train?
- Tap Set up a meal train, choose the occasion, then enter the dates, the meals you need, dietary notes and drop-off instructions. When you finish, Casserole walks you straight into sending the invitation. Setting up a train is what the one-time Organizer Unlock covers.
- Do the people bringing meals have to pay or sign up?
- No. Helpers open your link, see the open days, and claim a slot. It is free for them, and there is no account to create. They do need an iPhone or iPad.
- A friend does not have an iPhone. Can they still help?
- Yes. The link only opens on iPhone and iPad, so for everyone else use Sign someone else up under any open slot to add their name yourself. In Details, the Friends without an iPhone card gives you a ready-made message listing the open days that you can text or email to them. They reply, and you add them.
- Casserole says it cannot reach iCloud. What should I check?
- Casserole keeps each meal train in your iCloud, so it checks that iCloud is working before it asks for any purchase. If it finds a problem it shows a screen explaining what to check: that you are signed in to iCloud in the Settings app, that you have a connection, and that iCloud is allowed for Casserole. Fix what it points to and tap Try again. Your draft is kept, and nothing is charged during that check.
- How do I change or remove someone's claim?
- As the organizer, open the day and use Edit or Remove on any claimed slot. Helpers can edit their own claim from their phone.
- What reminders and notifications are there?
- Helpers get a reminder as their date approaches. Organizers are told when someone signs up, and get an evening nudge before any upcoming day that still has open slots. The sign-up notice has its own switch under Details, in the Organizer section.
- How do dietary notes work?
- Allergies and preferences stay attached to the household, and every helper sees them when they claim a slot, along with the drop-off instructions.
- How do I restore my purchase?
- On the screen that offers the unlock, tap Restore Purchase while signed in to the Apple ID you bought with.
- How do I contact support?
- Email support@zossoz.com. Casserole also shows this address under Details. Include your iPhone model, iOS version and what you were doing, and a person will reply by email.
Still stuck?
Email support@zossoz.com and a person will write back. Tell us your iPhone model, your iOS version and what you were doing when it went wrong.
